With the introduction of the Preferred underwriting class, the healthier you are and the better your

can apply to qualify for this rate class, if you are in very good health and lead a low risk lifestyle and
have a minimum of $250,000 of Term Life Insurance coverage under the Society of Management Accountants of
Canada plan. To qualify for this new rate class, you will need to be medically underwritten. Through the
medical underwriting process your application will be assessed to determine if you qualify for the preferred
class, and we’ll examine key factors such as your:
- tobacco use
- blood pressure
- physical build
- personal and family medical history
- cholesterol level
- driving record
